OITA GROWN DRIEDSHIITAKE

We have presented our bamboo trophy to the grand champion wrestler of sumo tournaments since 1979.The first recipient was Kitanoumi, grand champion in September, 1979.

The bamboo knitting products are also a well-known traditional technique in Oita prefecture.The trophy was made by a skillful bamboo artisan in Oita and the height is 110cm. The cap is 60cm in height and 130cm round. A full of Shiitake is filled in the cap.
